Dr. Bella-Omunagbe C.

Director of the Centre

Dr. Bella-Omunagbe specializes in construction management and is a chartered builder as well as a member of the Nigeria Institute of Building. He serves as a Chief Lecturer in the Department of Building at Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi. With extensive experience and a strong reputation, he has earned recognition both within the polytechnic and in the broader academic community.

Engr. Matthew Chukwu

Assitant Director Of the Centre

Matthew N. Chukwu holds degrees in Polymer Engineering and Industrial Engineering, including an M.Sc and M.Eng. He joined Auchi Polytechnic in 2000, becoming a Chief Lecturer in 2020, and served as Head of the Department of Polymer Technology (2014–2017), transforming it into the School of Engineering Technology. A chartered engineer and COREN member, he is affiliated with IPE, MSN, and PIN. He contributed to the 2020 NBTE Polymer Technology curriculum review and has research interests in polymer composites, rheology, and failure behavior, with numerous publications in reputable journals.

Akinola David Olugbemide (Ph.D)

Research Officier

Dr. Akinola David Olugbemide is a researcher at the TETFUND Centre of Excellence in Creative-Innovation and Entrepreneurship Dynamics, Auchi Polytechnic, Nigeria. He holds a PhD in Industrial Chemistry from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, and has published extensively in reputable journals. He serves as a reviewer for leading journals, including Waste and Biomass Valorization (Springer), Chemical Engineering Journal (Elsevier), and others. Dr. Olugbemide is the managing editor of a journal and has conducted research writing workshops for professionals. A TETFUND scholar and R4i alumnus, he currently leads a project on optimizing the bioconversion of organic waste to renewable energy using deep eutectic solvents.

Dr. Samson Ighiegba Omosotomhe

Communication and Documentation Officier

Dr. Samson Omosotomhe is a Lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication, Auchi Polytechnic, Nigeria. He holds a PhD in Mass Communication and has authored 12 publications with over 5,600 reads and 15 citations. His research focuses on Mass Communication, Media Studies, Social Media, and Journalism. One of his notable works, co-authored with Wilfred Olley, examines the use of social media for news gathering and dissemination among journalists in Edo State. Dr. Omosotomhe’s contributions significantly influence academic scholarship and media practices.
